Position Details: Why Women’s Health/GYN at Mercy St. Louis? Our Women’s Health/GYN unit provides specialized, holistic care for patients with diverse and meaningful needs. As part of our team, you will make a profound impact on women across all stages of life. Our Patient Population Includes: - NICU mothers - Post?surgical patients (hysterectomy, breast reconstruction, uro?gyn, cesarean complications) - Fetal demise patients - GI patients, including GI abdominal surgeries - Women’s Med Surg overflow - Previable moms with non-pregnancy-related complications If you’re a strong advocate for women and want a role where empathy meets excellence—this is the place for you. ?? Qualifications Required Education - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN) Licensure - Current RN license in the state of practice (or compact license, as applicable) - Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements Certifications - BLS through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire) - One or more of the following may be required based on unit needs or obtained within departmental timelines: - ACLS - NRP - ENPC - TNCC - CPHON - OCN - PALS - PEARS - S.T.A.B.L.E. - C?EFM - Other unit?specific certifications as required Physical Requirements - Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis (Preferred education, licensure, and experience may be added per hiring manager need.) What You’ll Do As a Women’s Health/GYN RN, you will be a central part of our interdisciplinary care team, advocating for patients and delivering compassionate, evidence?based care.
