Job Description:

SSM Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN specializing in Pediatric Critical Care to join our team. This role involves providing top-tier medical care in our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) to children with a variety of critical conditions. Our PICU team works closely within SSM Health’s fully integrated health care delivery system, ensuring holistic, evidence-based care tailored to the needs of each child and their family. Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for critically ill pediatric patients Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health teams to optimize patient care Educate and support patients and their families regarding diagnoses, progress, and ongoing care needs Ensure alignment with health system values and compliance with all healthcare regulations Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care Ability to communicate effectively with children and stressed family members Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to operate specialized PICU equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) - Pediatric certification preferred
