Overview Job Specifics OSF HealthCare Children s Hospital of
Illinois (CHOI), is seeking a pediatric urologist for the Division
of Pediatric Urology. The Physician is responsible for providing
compassionate, high quality, patient-centered care. Demonstrates

team-oriented behaviors with: staff physicians, nurses, other
departments, other members of the medical staff. OSF HealthCare

pay range for this position: $624,000 - $660,000. Range shown
should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors
including but not limited to the critical need of the position,
overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other
considerations. Additional compensation components may be
applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be
based on metric achievement. Children's Hospital of Illinois
Located in Peoria, OSF HealthCare Children s Hospital of Illinois
(CHOI) is the third largest pediatric hospital in Illinois and the
most comprehensive hospital for kids downstate. CHOI serves a
population base of approximately 4.5 million, is a Level One trauma
center and is the only pediatric hospital within OSF Healthcare
system. With 136 beds and more than 140 pediatric subspecialists,
OSF Children s Hospital cares for more children in Illinois than
any hospital outside of Chicago. Formally established as a
pediatric hospital within the walls of OSF HealthCare Saint Francis
Medical Center in 1990, OSF Children s Hospital of Illinois has
more than 7,000 inpatient admissions, 75,000 outpatient specialty
visits, 2,400 newborn deliveries, and 18,000 emergency department
visits each year. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to
practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board
eligible in Pediatric Urology by the American Board of Medical
Specialties (ABMS) Demonstrated ability to treat all pediatric
urological conditions and perform general and complex surgeries
within the specialty Obtain and maintain medical staff membership
and appropriate privileges. Must be eligible as a provider for
Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician
shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for
professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by
the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of
Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in robotics is preferred; robotics cases
will be required and training will be offered as needed Experience
or interest in Spina Bifida patients preferred Demonstrates the
knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to
the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
