Manufacturing Production Operator – 1st Shift ($22/hr) Location: South City area Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm Pay: $22/hour Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract Education: HS Diploma required; Associate degree in Chemistry or related science preferred About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician / Manufacturing Production Operator to join a growing team that produces large?scale buffers used in critical manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with wet chemistry or lab experience who enjoys hands?on work in a clean, safety-focused environment. What You’ll Do Production Operations Set up and prepare manufacturing equipment following established protocols Perform routine analytical testing (pH, conductivity, stoichiometry, etc.) Monitor product quality and process control throughout production Transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping, pallet jacks, or dollies Clean equipment and work areas after production Manage proper waste disposal and documentation Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting Operate and set up processing equipment Identify equipment malfunctions and make appropriate adjustments Report failures and coordinate repairs Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate batch records and logbooks Document raw materials, hours, and process steps in SAP (training available) Report any deviations or non-conformance issues Safety & Compliance Follow all production procedures and safety guidelines at all times Properly use and maintain PPE (respirator required) Label all in?process materials correctly Maintain excellent housekeeping standards Continuous Improvement Participate in process improvement activities Support training of new team members Apply scientific principles to enhance processes Requirements High School Diploma required Associate degree in Chemistry or a related science highly preferred Wet chemistry lab experience (pH, conductivity, stoichiometry) SAP experience preferred (will train) Must be clean?shaven (respirator requirement) Ability to lift 20 lbs Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing PPE Why You’ll Love It Here Steady day shift hours, Monday–Friday Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to work hands?on in a scientific, fast-paced environment Work that truly supports essential manufacturing processes If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
