IT Sales Representative

Edge is the preferred provider for Patterson Dental in the Missouri and Illinois regions, providing all manners of IT support backed with an unmatched depth of knowledge of the needs and running of dental and medical practices. From infrastructure setup, computer hardware, software implementation, VOIP phone systems, and 24/7 monitoring and support, we provide clients with the comfort of knowing we're there, remotely, and onsite, whenever they need us.
Edge Plus is looking out for a hungry, tech-savvy Sales Representative to grow the business and build out managed IT services client base. The best fit for this opportunity is a self-starting, metrics-driven, strategic thinker and fantastic communicator. Someone able to communicate with current clients and listen to their needs and propose the best solution to make each office run smoothly, efficiently, and allow the staff to focus on their patients, employees, and their practice. You also have a hunter mentality and will turn warm leads in to new clients by showing them the benefits and added service over the current way they manage IT setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
As a Sales Representative for Edge Plus, you are:

  • Consultative - you listen more than you speak, don't try to oversell but customize solutions based on needs and budgets, and sell those solutions through the benefits they bring
  • Able to think critically and strategically - break down the walls around those who don't truly understand the difference the right technology can make; find ways to build relationships with gate keepers, influencers and decision makers
  • Client and Prospect-focused - you follow through and keep your word, never overpromising and under-delivering
  • Resilient, Adaptable and Tenacious - if you get knocked down, you get back up and find a better way to hit your numbers and achieve your goals
  • Self-starter - we want the right attitude and the aptitude to be trained and productive - this is not a micro-managed position, and though you will have thorough training and supportive and helpful team members, the hunger and the success is up to you
    As a Sales Representative, you will:
    • Source and develop leads into relationships, prospect new offices/practices, and build a strong network and referral base
    • Compete with yourself to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual metrics and sales goals
    • Be an effective communicator, adapting your message to match the recipient, both verbally and in writing
    • Provide excellent service to clients, keep retention rates high, and become a trusted business advisor to your clients
