- Mercy: Worthy of the Name To learn more about the Springfield community, click here!Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Springfield Facility Director will develop and manage the Capital and operating budgets, understand the regulatory items such as NFPA codes, State Regulations, Joint Commission Standards for maintaining accreditation for hospitals and clinics. As the leader of the largest facility foot print in Mercy Central Region, he/she collaborates and provides guidance and technical support for the Springfield Regional Hospital Maintenance leaders. He/She will provide an excellent environment to facilitate the healing process for our patients, visitors, and co-workers. Accepts the responsibility for the stewardship for our facilities, equipment, resources, and sustainability of our mission.Qualifications:Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
- Two years college, Certified Facility Management certification or 10 years field experience with emphasis on facilities management, energy management, mechanical systems design, construction, and/or maintenance, or closely related field or
- 5 years field experience with emphasis on facilities management, energy management, mechanical systems design, construction, and/or maintenance, or closely related field if accompanied with BS degree in related field.
