Job ID: -107179 -The Leonardo DRS Land Systems business is a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers. Job Summary Responsible for facilitating DRS business by developing, implementing, and overseeing internal controls and developing and monitoring internal budgets. - Ensures compliance with U.S. Government Regulations related to DFARS 252.242-7005 business systems: Accounting System and Materials Management and Accounting System. Job Responsibilities

• Perform various highly complex financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis. Ensure management understanding of rate and budget issues. Forecast budgets, employment levels, and performance metrics for project or department.
• Conduct and lead audits and analyses of their organization's direct and indirect costs and review their practices and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant FAR Part 30 and CAS.
• Under limited direction, responsible for responding to DCAA and DCMA requests. Provides the coordination of responses and principal review to ensure adherence to company policy as well as identify risks, and areas of concern.
• Recommends, drafts and coordinates implementation of business policies, processes, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulations and Company policies. Job Responsibilities Part II
  • Provides reports and updates metrics by assembling and consolidating information derived from a variety of sources pertaining to compliance.
  • Conduct independent research and apply analytical and problem solving skills to lead and complete numerous and diverse special projects
  • Develop project timelines and department objectives in consultation with senior management
  • Ability to effectively interpret data and present as information and respond to questions from staff
  • Participates in business and corporate projects focusing on compliance Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of business experience working at DoD contractor
    • Demonstrated understanding of DFAR and FAR requirements
    • Attention to detail and follow through on tasks assigned
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
