Medium Duty Truck Technician

Job Duties:

* Perform mechanical repairs on medium-duty diesel trucks
* Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
* Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
* Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges
* Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
* Keep work area clean and safe
* Other duties as assigned

Desired Competencies:

* Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field
* Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium duty vehicles
* Detail oriented
* Team Player
* Flexibility to meet changing demands

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid CDL driver's license with clean driving record (preferred)
* 2+ years' experience as a Truck Technician or similar position (preferred)
