investors.The Proprietary Funds Valuation & Execution team is
responsible for overseeing and executing daily investment
operations functions of the Bridge Builder Mutual Funds and Edward
Jones Money Market Fund, as well as providing meaningful
contributions to the evolution of features and benefits to improve
the funds experience and deliver value to our clients. As a member
of the team, you will be interacting with multiple asset management
teams and service providers in the industry, as well as stakeholder
across Edward Jones.
Responsibilities include -
Work with Edward Jones Portfolio
Managers, Investment Manager Research Analysis, and Compliance team
members to build and maintain investment policy guidelines.Partner
with subadvisers and proprietary funds administrators to implement
investment guideline restriction monitoring through Charles
River.Lead the evolution of the business line oversight process,
including tools and technology used to aid in the management and
accuracy of investment policy guidelines.Perform daily investment
restriction analysis and monitoring to ensure that proprietary
funds are in compliance with the Investment Company Act of 1940,
and the funds' prospectusResolve issues in partnership with
portfolio managers, and external partnersAssess and analyze
regulatory changes and associated impact to investment guidelines
in partnership with Edward Jones Legal and Compliance associates.
Bachelor's degree in accounting,
finance, economics, mathematics or related fieldSecurities licenses
Series 7 and Series 66 required within 6 months of hireThree years
of related experienceExperience and knowledge of investment
management data and / or technology, including security reference
data, pricing and valuation processes and trading dataKnowledge of
Investment Company Act of 1940 and/or Investment Advisors Act is a
plus, as well as ability to interpret investment policies expressed
in mutual fund prospectusesExperience with an asset manager or
asset management services firm and utilizing investment compliance
monitoring or trading tools is a plusExperience and knowledge of
market data applications, including Bloomberg, IDC Vantage and
Charles River
