the first 30 new hires upon completing 90 days of employment with
CDS!Position Summary: The Inventory Control Clerk executes goals
and objectives set by the Operations and Customer Service
Management team to ensure excellent service to our customers, both
internal and external. The primary role of this individual will be
to maintain accurate inventory levels. This position builds
proficiency in the administration of data within the CDS warehouse
management system and client systems; ensures that client inventory
management and order fulfillment responsibilities are completed in
a timely fashion and with the highest standard of service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other
duties may be assigned as required. q Comply with Company policies,
procedures, and expected standards of behavior to include the
Company's tardiness and absenteeism policy. q Assist the Customer
Service and Operations Department by maintaining an accurate count
of all inventory. q Ensure that any inventory loss is immediately
reported. q Receive, unpack, inspect, and count inbound materials
and components. q Enter all electronic customer inventory and order
information. q Communicate appropriately and professionally with
all colleagues and client representatives. q Perform
reconciliations of current inventory as necessary and/or requested
and immediately notify supervisory and management staff of any
discrepancies. q Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift as
necessary to move product. q Maintain a competency and
certification concerning the safe operation of forklift equipment,
(i.e. stand-up, sit down forklifts, and pallet jacks). q Comply
with established procedures concerning equipment inspections and
sign out. q Assist with the training of newly hired personnel. q
Participate daily with general housekeeping of warehouse. q
Maintain a competency and working knowledge of the RF system and
equipment. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no
supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: In order to perform
this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each

Required Education and/or Experience: q High School Diploma or
General Education Degree (GED) q 1+ year(s) of recent experience in
a similar role; preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment
q 1+ year(s) of prior experience operating a forklift q Proficient
with an RF Scanner q Must have excellent communication skills; both
written and verbal Preferred Education and/or Experience: q
Experience with an RF-based warehouse management system (WMS)
Language Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or
governmental regulations. Ability to compose reports, business
correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
communicate information in verbal or written format and effectively
respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees,
customers and the general public. This includes the ability to
speak, read, and write the English language. Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages as well as draw and
interpret bar graphs. Ability to correctly read, interpret and
process lengthy strings of individual digits in their correct
order. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral
or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands:

up to fifty (50) pounds repeatedly. q Stoop, reach, kneel, twist
