Job Description:

TITLE:Sr. Systems Analyst-OpsLOCATION:Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments for the internal-agent facing sales ordering application. Execute manual test cases through a user interface and document results, as well as gather requirements for releases that will require testing. Utilize software quality assurance/testing methodologies to write and execute test cases. Perform defect management to create defects and manage the defect to a fix date. Validate the need for new test cases versus regression testing. Execute manual test cases that are entered into the test case and defect management platform. Retest failed scenarios to ensure reproducible. Store test results in the test case and defect management tool and report to interested parties. Maintain tests based on ongoing changes to applications, tools, and environment. Ensure functionality is added to the regression suite of test cases, and that the testing team is aware of any expected failed scenarios. Ensure that the proper test cases are created and de-scoped and ensure that when testing takes place, all testers have the right scope for each testing cycle. Work with developers and analysts in a scrum-like fashion and ensure Standards and Guidelines are followed with Quality Assurance Reviews. Validate defect fixes and notify team of defect status. Work with analysts to ensure that they understand the functionality to be tested. Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved. Identify and recommend new enhancements to the agent order entry platform and testing process. Execute detailed data validation testing plans, test suites, test cases and test scripts enabling all levels of testing. Create and maintain test plans, test suites, test cases, and test scripts for the UAT and Production environment. Review test plan and test suite with Testing Team and Product Owner. Escalate test issues to management so that these issues can be resolved. Enter incident tickets for production environment impacted issues found during testing and monitor progress for issue resolution. Ensure coverage for all deployments impacting the ordering application, including offshore. JOB SUMMARY:EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or related field.5 years of experience utilizing software quality assurance/testing methodologies to write and execute test cases. 3 years of experience performing defect management to create defects and manage the defect to a fix date..
