JOB DETAILSCT Technologists work under the direction of the Radiologist to perform a variety of routine and complex CT scanning examinations for the purpose of diagnosing abnormalities, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and continuity of patient care.
Graduate of an AMA approved radiology program required.
One year of CT experience preferred.
Basic life support certification required.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (R) and Computed tomography (CT) required.
Illinois Emergency Management Agency certification to perform Radiology required
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. Ability to start IV's.
