In this position, you will be responsible for performing various basic clerical tasks, including managing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment, and completing general office work. This File Clerk role is a short-term contract / contract / temporary opportunity in the Maryland Heights, Missouri area.Responsibilities- Handle clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing- Using specific guidelines, arrange high volumes of memoranda, letters, invoices, and other indexed documents- Offer assistance as necessary for other employees on diverse projects- Must be capable of answering questions about records and files- Coordinate file management, including gathering and indexing, with other departments and employees- Using allotted time frames, retrieve data- Give utmost attention to quality control to ensure proper document filing Requirements - Solid understanding of filing- Deep understanding of Paper Filing- Knowledge of Numeric Filing- All applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent- Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets- Employer prefers 1 year of File Clerk experience- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing- Strong organization skills- Adept handling office equipment - Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
