Habilitation Specialist (DSP)Starting at $16.65 Per HourFull-Time Position with Paid Training and Benefits Essential Duties:Supervise, implement, and document programs for a variety of individual daily routines and personal daily living needs for assigned clients in Hope's Residential Academy.Assist in development and implementation of individual program plans and participate as an interdisciplinary team member for assigned clients.Report any behavioral and/or medical changes in assigned clients, as well as any necessary repairs or safety concerns in the home.Ensure that clients are safe and enjoy programs, services, and activities while also helping the clients achieve maximum levels of independence in self-help, social, and independent living skills.Model professional and appropriate behavior and appearance for assigned clients at all times.Shift Options:$16.65 is the base rate of pay for all positions. 2nd shift will be paid an additional $0.60 per hour ($17.25) and 3rd shift will be paid an additional $0.40 per hour ($17.05).First Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pmSecond Shift - 2:30pm - 11:00pm Third Shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am*Note: Candidates must be willing to work mandatory overtime for this position* Minimum Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age.Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.A valid Illinois driver's license.Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening.Lift, push, pull and/ or carry 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl and run.
