Senior Information Security Specialist

This is a newly created role and you will be responsible for keeping the organization's data protected. You will work as an individual contributor rather than work as part of a very large team. You will help improve and mature the organization's data security practices. Additionally, you will oversee security audits, and ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

Responsibilities
--- Assist and influence management in the development, evolution, and execution of security risk strategies.
--- Utilize expert level experience with related technologies to make sensible and innovative suggestions on how to defend our systems from emerging threats.
--- Evaluate new technologies, strategies and methods protecting company's data assets.
--- Review third party risk assessments and ensure that vendor agreements meet company's security standards
--- Generate actionable reports and presentations for all levels of management and executive teams involved information security oversight.
--- Develop and monitor metrics to ensure program is meeting regulatory requirements and internal corporate goals and timelines.
--- Develop, maintain and enforce IT security and compliance policies, standards and procedures.
--- Map compliance framework requirements to internal controls.
--- Collaborate with business units across company to incorporate a security mindset into every day operating procedures.
