Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Charlotte, NC to support a large data team. This position requires 3 days working in the office per week, 2 days wfh permitted.Essential Duties:* Scrum Master will be working with the development team, business, and program manager to create and execute release schedules* Collaboration in work prioritization, coming from multiple work stream groups* Working with the development manager to ensure that the development team has visibility to be able to work on the highest priority tasks* Working with the business, development team, QA, release management, etc., to ensure progression of work items through the SDLC* Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right point of contact* Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution* As a Scrum Master, you will be assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and communicating status* Supporting the Product Owner, balancing new enhancement work with production support work, setting realistic expectations* Providing support to the team, and leading by example* Tracking the project budget and working with the development team and business to ensure appropriate resource allocation* BA/BS degree* Project Management/Leadership experience for at least 7 years* Experience in the role of Scrum Master in software development environment for at least 1 year* Knowledge of SDLC* Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency* Detail-oriented, pro-active, excellent communication skills and follow-through* Experience with MS Project and budget tracking* Knowledge and experience in project management with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologiesPreferred Skills/Experience:* MBA and/or Masters in Project Management* PMP Certification* First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, ACP, PSM I)* Knowledge of Agile approaches: Scrum, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.; PMI-ACP certification preferred* Knowledge of Agile Tools utilized from story to design task and release, such as Jira* Previous experience as a team lead* A technical understanding of Networks and Cable Operations* Experience working with Release ManagementThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
