About the Position:

As a full-time general laborer for Kirkwood Fence, you will be responsible for preform physical tasks, assist in the repair, replacement and install of all types of fence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Providing quality installation and repair of all types of fence.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of jobsites, work spaces, and company vehicles
Handling and transporting materials and equipment
Handle and use power tools (such as Jack hammers, drills, saws).
Mix, pour and finish concrete (hand trowel finish)
Use machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Reading and following plans, blue prints, or scopes of work
Continuance of training and learning all aspects of the jobs
Vehicle and equipment maintenance
Job duties include but are not limited to all previous mentioned duties

Requirements


Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods, repetitive tasks and motions etc.)
Good hand-eye coordination
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety rules
Flexibility of schedule, and job tasks
Customer service and satisfaction oriented
Strong desire to learn and do a quality job
Ability to take and follow directions
Be on time and ready to work every day (Mon-Friday, Weekends optional as needed)
