Responsible for managing Charter's IT Security penetration testing
team. This includes effectively managing the activities of IT
Security personnel, ensuring penetration tests are safely and
successfully completed, providing results to internal business
partners, driving enterprise initiatives successfully towards
defined and agreed-upon results, and executing program
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and
enhance the customer experience.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of IT Security penetration
tests to ensure safe and successful assessments. This includes, but
is not limited to scope identification, rules of engagement,
coordination with internal teams, and ongoing communications.
Utilize project management processes and methodologies to ensure
assigned projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and meet
Develop and maintain strategies that assure the achievement of IT
Security policies and standards.
Simultaneously handle multiple initiatives while working with cross
functional teams to ensure program success.
Track costs, performance, service levels and other metrics required
to ensure team goals and objectives are met.
Manage high performing teams by leading, developing, training and
providing effective coaching to attract and foster talent.
Proactively identify program risks and define mitigation plans.
Report progress/risks and issues to relevant decision bodies at an
