Our focus is to provide excellent service to our members through our branch network, digital banking channels, member solutions center, and back-office support departments.We have an opening for a Consumer Loan Processor at our headquarters in Arnold, MO.The Loan Processor is responsible for assisting the credit union and its members in a centralized underwriting environment. This position will be responsible for mining/sourcing loan applications for opportunities to assist members and assisting with various administrative duties to support the Lending Department, including cross-training in sales and other areas as needed. The Loan Processor will be part of a team rotation for the queue approving indirect auto loans. The typical rotation for the queue is once a month, covering after-hours, which will be discussed in detail during the in-person interview.Loan Processor Responsibilities:

• Approving and underwriting loans
• Responsible for scrubbing member credit bureaus to look for opportunities to improve members' financial situation.
• Ensure completion of loan packets and documents from Credit Union Lending Systems (CULS) and booking the loans to the core.
• Cross-training to help identify new loan opportunities by phone, written correspondence, or external sales calls.
• Handle various duties relative to processing loans and loan applications of the credit union.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • Requires high school diploma, some college preferred
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience including extensive experience with loan documentation and underwriting
  • Exceptional skills in credit mining and looking for loan solutions for members
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Solid communication, analytical and organizational skills required
  • Thorough knowledge of financial and operational functions
  • Working knowledge of applicable lending regulations
  • Proven sales experience and looking for additional loan opportunities beyond loan applications from the credit bureaus
