Job Description:
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties Verify and complete
donation documentation of necessary recordsPrepare plasma bottle
collection for samplingCollect and process donor tubes for
testingPrepare donor testing samples for shipmentLabel samples and
place plasma bottles in freezer for shipment, including repackaging
and sortingComplete donor records by entering the collected
information into the donor management computer systemPack units for
final shipmentMonitor the temperature of the stored product in
freezers and perform routine maintenance of freezer
equipmentPerform daily, monthly, quarterly equipment maintenance
through cleaning and quality control checks. Report all equipment
in need of repair to supervisorMaintain communication within the
service areas of the donor center to ensure thorough documentation
of necessary recordsLearn and maintain thorough familiarity and
compliance with all state and federal regulations, Standard
Operating Procedure Manual, Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments
(CLIA), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and internal
Company ProceduresThorough knowledge of applicable Company and
departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to
learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in
the futureMaintain an open line of communication with
ManagementMaintain a positive and professional demeanor during all
