Edward Jones currently has more branch offices than any other financial services firm, and we continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.The Firm Strategic Enablement Office is seeking a Design Thinking Enablement Lead to help scale the practice and mindset of design thinking firm-wide and at all levels of the organization.

This candidate will become a core part of the Design Thinking group, working with talented teammates to help the organization solve complex problems that ultimately result in delightful end-to-end experiences for our clients, branch teams and associates.

You will have the opportunity to advocate for design thinking and help others in the organization develop their knowledge and experience in a variety of techniques and disciplines that are centered around human-centered design.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and implementation of tailored adoption and change management plans for design thinking firm-wideAccountable for the measures of success for enablement and adoption of design thinkingResponsible for operational alignment of design thinking frameworks and principles with different areas, processes and teams across the firm (e.g. CX, Product Management, Agile)Learn and communicate the principles of design thinking, process improvement, data analysis, and change management to a wide variety of audiences to gain the buy-in and understanding needed to drive transformational change across the enterprise.Ability to autonomously lead multidisciplinary teams of associates and leaders through design thinking frameworks in pursuit of discovery and innovation in divisional efforts. Co-lead cross-divisional and enterprise level efforts.Effectively communicate in verbal and written venues to senior level leaders to present strategic opportunities, align to firm strategy/goals/objectives, define business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps that clearly articulate the journey toward an ideal client experience.Quickly build trusting relationships. Provide leader-level coaching, feedback and guidance to others (both associates and leaders). Demonstrate agility in ambiguous and complex circumstances to achieve desired outcomes.Exercises strong critical thinking and sound judgment while independently making decisions within division level projects and providing consultation and oversight to those executing department level projects. Co-lead the development and/or improvement of processes that have firm-wide benefits.Identify major detailed project tasks, resources, and coordinate the efforts of internal and external parties necessary to see successful project completion including external consulting firms.Identify subject matter experts, business owners, and those skilled in multiple business process disciplines necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience2+ years of applicable work experienceDesign Thinking experience, and direct or indirect people leadership experienced preferredDemonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, building relationships at all levels of the organization, and effectively tailoring messaging and approach to multiple audiencesAbility to quickly engage and inspire a diverse, multi-disciplinary teamExpertise in systems thinkingChange agility and comfort operating and flexing in ambiguitySome travel required

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
