Clinician Job SummaryThe clinician is responsible for individual and group support therapies, adaptive skills training programs, assessment, functional analysis, program design, data tracking and analysis, and ongoing monitoring of programs for individuals referred to the Illinois Crisis Prevention Network.Clinician Job DutiesConduct mental health/clinical reviews of individuals with dual diagnoses in need of mental health services.Design personal support plans/behavior support plans, data collection systems and analysis procedures, and response reduction interventions that utilize least intrusive techniques to reduce a targeted behavior.Complete functional analyses of assigned individuals.Conduct staff training that includes detailed and specific information on conducting planned interventions, de-escalation techniques, and data aggregation, as well as individual support sessions on an as-needed basis.Participate in community staff meetings, making recommendations for intervention/treatment based on assessment results and client data.Establish goals for professional growth and participate in continuing education and professional development.Clinician QualificationsMaster's degree from an accredited university program in psychology, social work, or a related field.Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).Specialized knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or Autism Spectrum Disorder.Expertise in adaptive skills training, functional analysis, behavior plan formatting and implementation, clinical therapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, interacting effectively on a multidisciplinary team with community providers.About ICPNThe Illinois Crisis Prevention Network (ICPN) is a collaborative partnership between Trinity Services and Hope, grant funded by Illinois Department of Human Services - Division of Developmental Disabilities (DHS-DDD). ICPN - Support Services Teams (SST) support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom are dually diagnosed with a mental health concern, who are experiencing complex behavioral or medical challenges. ICPN provides community-based services and supports to referred children and adults, as well as their families, provider agencies, schools, places of employment, and community day service programs.ICPN's mission is to move from crisis management to crisis prevention for children and adults experiencing behavioral, mental health, and/or medical challenges, their families, and their service providers.
