Job Description:

Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting an Business Development Representative for Paul Davis of Metro West St. Louis. They are seeking a candidate who is driven, confident and adaptable. A candidate that can provide exceptional customer service, while building and maintaining relationships with organizations to continue the growth of the company. The Business Development Representative works with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm. A successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while building relationships and serving the community. This business development representative is responsible for achieving sales goals, contributing ideas, and executing company sales plans. The successful candidate will represent the company on emergency services & fire losses and will build a trust-based business relationship with police and fire departments.

  • Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need
  • Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner
  • Responsible for achieving company sales targets and update management the status of accounts
  • Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
  • Responsible for on-going prospecting and warm-calling potential clients/ customers within targeted areas
  • Call and follow-up with the clients/customers after every job and ensure client/customer satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional product knowledge and outstanding customer service to develop lifetime customers in a local market
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
  • Support franchisee organizational mission, vision, and value statement


  • 3+ years previous relevant job experience. Outside sales experience is a plus!
  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
  • Ability to be on call, responding to after hour emergencies
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to seek knowledge if new to the industry
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Self-thinker, someone not afraid to contribute ideas to promote company growth
  • Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
