Summary

The WMS Superuser reports to the Group Logistics Manager and has responsibility for recommending, developing, and maintaining present and future systems that support the facilities operations, logistics, and inventory process. Also works closely with the US Team to ensure Ryder has continuity among all their warehouses.

Essential Functions

  • Previous experience in WMS management controls Scale systems preferred
  • Experienced in zoning and layouts within WMS
  • Creating business rules
  • Articulate – Ability to intelligently communicate the business to both the client and employees using facts and emotional intelligence
  • Operational experience preferred allowing for a bridge in the gap between business and operations
  • Data analytics – Microsoft suite – Excel
  • Experienced with WMS hardware maintenance
  • Experience in trouble shooting WMS integration issues with automation is preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in business, logistics, transportation. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered.
  • Five (5) years or more in the management of warehouse and/or transportation operations required
