We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.The Tax Management team is responsible for many of the Firm's most critical client tax reporting processes, including tax form generation and IRS reporting. We're seeking an exceptionally talented person to innovate and collaborate with our team to develop the next generation of tax processing.

What you'll do...

--- Develop next generation solutions to replace legacy batch systems
--- Develop Reactive and MVC web applications
--- Develop enterprise REST services
--- Work with product owner and solutions architect to develop detailed designs
--- Responsibilities include story grooming, designing, coding, and completing the development lifecycle through implementation
--- Provide system support, including on-call rotation, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues
--- Provide guidance, training and mentorship to other associatesWhat you'll need...

--- Senior-level expertise in REACT.js.
--- Five years of experience in Java software design and development
--- Two years of experience developing web applications utilizing Spring Framework
--- REST service development experience
--- Experience with Relational and Document data stores
--- A continuous independent learner, forward-thinking, open to new processes and technologies
--- A team player who takes initiative and delivers results
--- Ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business decisions, facilitate discussion and collaborative resolution of problems

Preferred Qualifications:
--- Experience with Kafka a plus
--- Experience with Mongo a plus
--- Knowledge of Product and Agile methodologies a plus
--- Experience leading small-to-medium sized efforts
