Job Description:
Andy Frain Services, a leader in the security sector, is seeking
a dedicated and skilled Armed Security Guard to join our dynamic
team. This role is critical in providing high-level security
services, focusing on manned guarding and crowd management at
various aviation and event venues. The right candidate will be part
of a team committed to ensuring the safety and security of all
clients and attendees by maintaining our standards of
professionalism and exceptional service. Monitor and authorize
entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to
guard against theft and maintain the security of premises. Patrol
industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of
intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the
passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Explain and
enforce safety procedures and regulations at event sites or
facilities. Respond to emergencies and alarms by following protocol
to handle and defuse situations, working closely with law
enforcement when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on incidents
that occur during shifts, including observations, information,
occurrences, and surveillance activities. Perform crowd control
duties during large events to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Proficiency with security technology and equipment, such as
surveillance systems and emergency response systems. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with
various individuals, including team members and the public. Ability
to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations. Physical
fitness and strength to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
Understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public
safety. Medical Insurance Life Insurance State-approved armed
security license is required. Must have a valid firearms permit and
meet all qualifications and standards for firearm use and safety.
First Aid and CPR certifications are desirable.
