Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,984 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required. License: Active Illinois license required. Certifications: BLS and RRT required. Must-Have: - Previous experience in adult critical care and emergency department. - Proficient in airway management devices and suctioning skills. - Experience in nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy procedures. - Familiarity with ventilator management and troubleshooting. - Experience with Cerner charting system is required. Description: Position available for a Respiratory Therapist. The shift is 3x12 days with a patient ratio of 20 per day. Required to work every other weekend. On-call duty may be necessary as needed for department functions. Candidates will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Schedule requests should be discussed with the manager. Additionally required to work two out of three major holidays. Experience in bedside bronchoscopy and trauma preferred. The facility is an acute care hospital with a focus on adult and pediatric care. Daily census is approximately 400 patients. The hospital is a trauma level I center. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills, teamwork, and commitment to patient care. Please ensure all qualifications are met before applying.
