Job Description:
Carle Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled EMT to join our
Emergency Services team. This position demands a commitment to
delivering exceptional medical care in emergency situations to
improve patient outcomes. As an integral part of our emergency
response team, you will be responsible for providing rapid,
high-quality pre-hospital care in accordance with established
protocols and company policies. Working with Carle Health means a
focus on community-based care that integrates innovative research
and advanced medical treatment. Respond to emergency calls and
provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and
injured. Transport patients safely in an ambulance to medical
facilities. Assess the condition of patients en route to the
hospital, administer emergency treatment, and complete patient care
reports. Operate emergency equipment and monitor the patient's
condition. Maintain readiness of emergency response equipment and
supplies. Proficiency in emergency medical techniques and protocols
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and the
ability to lift and maneuver patients Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state EMT
Certification CPR Certification Valid driver's license Advanced EMT
certification preferred
