Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield,
Illinois, 62781! Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience required in
medical/surgical nursing. License: Active state RN license
required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Charge nurse
experience required. Experience with telemetry and emergency
response required. Proficiency in genitourinary and renal case
management. IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required. Medication
administration skills required, including Heparin. Respiratory case
management experience is necessary. Knowledge of isolation
precautions and wound care required. Experience with Cerner
charting system required. Description: The role involves working as
a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with a focus on Urology and
Nephrology. The position requires the nurse to work night shifts,
specifically three 12-hour shifts each week. The average daily
census on the unit is 23 patients. This is a 25-bed unit with a
diverse patient population, managing various diagnoses related to
urology and nephrology. Nurses may need to float to other
medical-surgical units as required. Charge nurse responsibilities
may be needed as part of this assignment. It is crucial for the
nurse to have experience in telemetry, emergency response, pre/post
hemodialysis management, and care for renal failure patients.
Skills in starting IVs, managing central lines, and administering
blood products are essential. The nurse will also manage
respiratory equipment, including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal
