Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM /n• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission form) /n• 13-week assignment length /n• Weekend hours required as needed by facility/every other weekend /n• No call requirements /n• Patient ratios: 1:5/6 on a 60-bed unit /n• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units /n• Work with medical patients including post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities /n• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only /n• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only /n• Current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure required /n• Minimum 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience required /n• Equipment used: Bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs /n• EMR system: EPIC /n• Dress code: Black scrubs only /n• Flu vaccination or approved exemptions required November 1-April 1 /n• Night shift positions orient on day shift (must be available entire week for orientation) /n• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments /n• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of the time, lifting and turning patients with assistance /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been providing healing services to the South St. Louis County area for more than 140 years, offering compassionate medical and specialty care.
