Ivy Rehab is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. This role is instrumental in helping patients regain and enhance their physical capabilities through targeted therapies. Work directly with physical therapists to implement specialized therapy treatments and patient interventions. Assist in the assessment of patient progress and report outcomes to the lead therapist. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain patient records and therapy notes diligently. Ensure treatment areas are prepared prior to each session and clean and organized afterwards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from physical therapists. Proficiency with therapy equipment and techniques. Capability to perform physical tasks and activities required by therapy protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant (where required by state law). CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
