Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Medical-Surgical inpatient
experience required. Description: This position requires utilizing
the nursing process to provide patient care. The role involves
maintaining professional accountability for the provision of
patient care. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care
provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinating patient care in
conjunction with other departments is essential. It is necessary to
maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Duties must be performed in a manner consistent with mission and
service standards. Direct patient care activities will include
assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age
groups. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities
with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
This role functions within the scope of nursing preparation and
follows established guidelines of nursing practice. Physical
demands may include standing and walking most of the shift,
significant bending, and lifting and turning patients with
assistance. You may be required to work differing schedules and
shifts according to patient care requirements. There is a high-risk
exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical requirements include
pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, and minimal kneeling,
crouching, and crawling. Utilizing the nursing process, you will
provide care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and
medical comorbidities. The overall aim is to ensure effective and
