Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a
travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
– Med/Surg Tele Licensure & Certifications: - Active IL RN License
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.) required Education: - Associate of
Science in Nursing (ASN) required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BSN) preferred Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of relevant
nursing experience - Knowledge of nursing process, trends, and
technology - Competence in patient assessment, documentation, care
planning, interventions, and procedures - Ability to maintain
safety, provide constructive feedback, and support professional
development - Strong communication skills and ability to evaluate
and modify care plans continuously Assignment Type & Schedule:
Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend & Holiday: Every other
Floating Requirements: May float to sister facilities Provides
professional nursing care for Med/Surg patients, applying nursing
theories and processes while ensuring patient and staff safety.
Responsibilities Include: - Perform all unit-specific
responsibilities and duties within scope of practice - Implement
procedures and theories related to Med/Surg nursing - Complete
patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Execute
nursing interventions and modify care plans based on ongoing
evaluation - Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care and
interventions - Identify and correct patient and employee safety
hazards - Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and
families - Provide feedback to peers to enhance professional
development and knowledge expansion - Fulfill all departmental
