Job Description:
SSM Health, a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, is seeking
a dedicated Charge RN to join our compassionate team. In this role,
you will be pivotal in leading nursing staff and managing patient
care in our fully integrated health care delivery system. You will
ensure the highest standards of care, optimize patient outcomes,
and foster an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement.
As a Charge RN at SSM Health, you will uphold the mission to serve
the comprehensive health needs of the diverse communities across
the Midwest. Coordinate daily nursing operations, including patient
flow and assignment of staff. Monitor patient care for quality and
adherence to standards and regulations. Guide and mentor nursing
staff to enhance skills and professional development. Communicate
effectively with physicians, patients, and family members. Manage
patient documentation and medical records accurately. Enforce
health and safety protocols. Participate in the development of
nursing policies and procedures Leadership and team management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong
decision-making abilities In-depth knowledge of health care
regulations and standards Proficiency in clinical skills and
nursing care across a variety of settings Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred.
