Job Description:
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated RN-Charge Nurse for our
Surgery Department, committed to delivering compassionate care to

crucial role in continuing our mission of serving through a fully
integrated health care delivery system. Oversee the nursing care in
the surgery department ensuring compliance with established
standards and practices. Coordinate surgical procedures schedules
to ensure efficient operations. Supervise and mentor nursing staff,
promoting a collaborative environment. Assess, plan, and evaluate
patient care needs before, during, and after surgery. Manage
patient records and documentation thoroughly and accurately. Act as
a liaison between the surgical team and other medical departments.
Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed during
surgical procedures. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competency in
handling stressful situations in a fast-paced environment. In-depth
knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care considerations.
Ability to manage and motivate a team. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
