Shift: 7:15 AM - 6:45 PM Experience: • 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL. • 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Will take MS RN with ONC Experience. Special Requirements: Required Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values. Required IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs. Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. LTAC Experience. Skills: Inpatient oncology, Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy. Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Preferred Credentials: ONS/ONCC. Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation. Special Requests: Open to accommodating block schedule: Discuss schedule requests with manager. Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12s. Weekend Req: Will work every other weekend. Floating Requirements: Will float as needed. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
