Siemens experience required; EPIC charting experience preferred
Description: Position/Specialty: CT Tech First-timers accepted.
Clinician will not float within scope to meet facility needs.
Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility.
Requests for time off must be submitted with the application.
Additional requests after confirmation will be considered at the
manager's discretion. Special requirements include Siemens
experience. EPIC charting experience is preferred but not
necessary. All equipment is Siemens and has been purchased new in
2020. The facility is a Level 1 trauma center. It provides
comprehensive stroke care and operates as an academic facility. All
scanners are accredited by the American College of Radiology. The
department has a daily caseload of 150 patients over 24 hours.
Individual lockers are available in the staff-only locker room. The
facility monitors patient radiation doses by an outside physicist.
Failure to comply with the safety protocols will lead to
cancellation of the contract. All clinicians must complete OSHA
respirator clearance before starting. Fit testing requires
travelers to shave for a mask to seal properly. Travelers cannot
work past one year and must take a six-month break to return.
