Job Description:
RN - Family Practice (Clinic) at Carle Health summary: The RN -
Family Practice role involves providing comprehensive nursing care
to patients of all ages within an ambulatory clinic setting,
including assessment, treatment, and education under the RN scope
of practice. Responsibilities include wound care, immunizations,
chronic disease education, telephone triage, and supporting quality
improvement initiatives. The position requires an active RN
license, BLS certification, and offers sign-on and relocation
bonuses, with opportunities for career growth within a large
healthcare system. Overview $5,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000
relocation (for greater than 100 miles) or $2,500 relocation (for
greater than 50 miles) for nurses with 1 or more years experience -
External Applicants Only The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic
approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides
healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN
scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
Qualifications License/Certifications: Licensed Registered
Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and
Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30
days - American Heart Association (AHA) Education: College Diploma:
Nursing Other Knowledge/Skills: Responsibilities Provides and
facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area
of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and
scope of practice. Ensures documentation of care is complete and
accurate. Provides health and wellness education to individuals and
groups. Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other
staff and healthcare students. Provides leadership for initiatives
designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes.
Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of
departmental standing orders. Assist with coordination of care for
patients agePerform telephone triage of both acute and chronic
needs for patients ageAssist with in office wound care and other
procedures such as lesion removal. Provide in office education for
patients with newly diagnosed diabetes between ages 0-150.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position
is $30.39per hour - $52.27per hour. This represents a good faith
minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by
Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be
dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to,
the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training,
licenses, shifts worked and compensation model. Carle Health offers
