with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63128! Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med
Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: 1 year in Stepdown License: Current RN License
Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have
Skills/Experience: 1 year Stepdown experience, inpatient only. This
is a respiratory-heavy floor, must have Trach/Vent experience.
Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient
care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with
other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a
manner consistent with our mission, values, and service standards.
Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups
including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary
departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within
the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established
guidelines of nursing practice. Works in a high-risk exposure
environment to blood and body fluids. Significant amount of bending
and stooping is required, as well as lifting and turning patients
with assistance. Must be flexible regarding work schedules, shifts,
and days of the week according to patient care requirements.
Maintains professionalism and adheres to standards of practice
while providing care for patients with medical comorbidities. Meets
unit-specific physical demands including pushing, pulling, gripping
up to 50 lbs, and pinching up to 15 lbs. Participates in patient
care for those post trauma, surgical interventions, and with
specific medical conditions. Demonstrates teamwork, dependability,
