Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Med/Surg Neuroscience night shift position, requiring an active MO or compact RN license and recent specialty experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Neurology-Neuroscience unit within a hospital setting - Assignment is 13 weeks in length, with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 (4x12 hour shifts per week) - Care for neurological patient populations - Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs - Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment - Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility receive reduced pay and may only complete up to three consecutive local 13-week contracts before a required 1-year break or transfer - Work attire must comply with general hospital standards - Neuroscience team environment with support from experienced staff /n /n Requirements/n - Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Neuroscience or related specialty required - No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled - Valid U.S. Social Security Number required - No employment gaps longer than 90 days within the past 12 months /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-625724.
