JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT) Job Type: Locum Tenens (Part-Time) Location: Peoria, IL Service Setting: Hospital / Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Call Coverage Period: January 5, 2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: OR 07:3015:00 or 08:0017:00; Clinic 08:3015:30 On-Call Shift Schedule: Daily call during shift, extends into evening (ends midnight or 6p) Call Type: In-House Telephone Call Response Time: 30 minutes COVERAGE DATES Starting January 5, 2026 ongoing, part-time coverage PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: 1520 patients/day Rounding: Included Case Mix: Tonsillectomy, adenoids, tubes, frenulectomy, abscess drainage, myringoplasty, laryngoscopy FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level I EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Pediatric ENT team (2 surgeons, 2 PAs) Reason for Coverage: New position / PTO support PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Illinois license (will accept candidates needing to obtain one) Board: BC/BE in Otolaryngology (Pediatric focus preferred) DEA: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 1 year NOTES Providers perform clinic/OR work while simultaneously covering call. Call responsibilities extend into evening hours.
