Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year in home care or 1-2 years in MS or acute care License: MO or IL Nursing License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Home health experience required Very diverse population with high acuity patients Proficient in detailed head-to-toe assessments Knowledge in wound care and assessments including measuring wounds, taking photos, and understanding wound products Proficient in infusion therapy and phlebotomy/lab draws Description: Position involves providing nursing care in a home health setting. Daily patient census averages 6-7 visits. A typical day consists of completing 5-20 visits. The clinician will follow a daily point system for productivity. On-call requirement includes 3-5 nights per month. The schedule will include every fourth weekend rotation. Experience in phlebotomy, catheter care, and wound management is essential. The role involves education and assessment of socioeconomic and medical needs. Candidates should be prepared to handle complex cases with limited resources. Return of all issued supplies and equipment will be required upon completion of the contract.
