Job Description:
General Cardiology in Springfield, Illinois Join a respected
academic cardiology department in Springfield, Illinois, as a
full-time General Cardiologist. This opportunity offers a balanced
mix of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly engagement in a
collegial, physician-led environment. The position is available as
the current general cardiologist transitions to an interventional

Split your time between an outpatient clinic and inpatient consults

Schedule: Enjoy a structured workweek with weekend rounding only
during inpatient weeks, and no overnight call as fellows manage
after-hours coverage Teaching and Research: Mentor cardiology
fellows, residents, and medical students while participating in
weekly conferences, Grand Rounds, and TEE training with dedicated
academic time for study and professional growth Who You Are Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Eligible for medical
licensure in Illinois Committed to academic medicine, teaching, and
patient care Experience with TEE preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: Generous academic salary
with additional earning potential Sign-On & Relocation: $10,000
combined allowance Time Off & Support: 5 weeks PTO, 13 holidays,
