hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor &
Delivery RN with an active IL license, advanced fetal monitoring
skills, and night shift availability. Responsibilities - Work in
the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care, Level I trauma,
Magnet-designated hospital - Night shifts are available with
options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules (18:45-07:15) - Required to
work every third weekend - Floating within hospital and to
affiliate hospitals may be required - Care for laboring and
post-partum patients with teaching hospital exposure preferred -
Electronic charting is completed using Cerner; Cerner experience
preferred - Responsibilities include comprehensive care of patients
during labor, delivery, and immediate post-partum period - Scrubs
are provided for this role - Parking permit provided at no cost -
Must discuss schedule and time off requests with manager; up to 5
days non-holiday time off may be auto-approved - Must be able to
work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Background policy is
reviewed before offer - Modules and orientation required; some
completed virtually - Locals are accepted for this assignment with
no mileage restriction Requirements - Active IL RN license required
at time of application - Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery
RN experience required - Current certifications required: ACLS,
BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AHA or Red Cross only; RQI not
accepted) - Proficiency in EFM interpretation required - Must have
not been a permanent or PRN employee of Memorial in the past 12
