Springfield, IL 62769 – Explore Illinois’ capital city, known for

Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: December 15, 2025 - End Date: March
15, 2026 - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend
required - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 -
$2360 - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Registered Nurse
Qualifications - Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand at
time of submission) - At least 1 year of recent experience in
Cardiac Stepdown, CVICU, or critical care nursing - Current ACLS,
BLS, and NIHSS certifications required - Ability to work 12-hour
night shifts, including every other weekend - Strong clinical
assessment, patient monitoring, and critical thinking skills
Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing
care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, open-heart
procedures, and critical illnesses - Monitor, assess, and document
patient conditions, vital signs, and progress - Administer
medications, cardiac treatments, and interventions as prescribed -
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and
implement individualized care plans - Educate patients and families
on cardiac post-operative care, recovery, and discharge
instructions - Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered
