Vascular Access for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Illinois. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Access -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position
/ Specialty: Vascular Access RN Shift: Days (0700-1730) Years of
experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required. First-timers
accepted: No. Weekend REQ: Will work weekends if needed for the
dept. Certs REQ: ACLS and BLS required. Is on-call REQ? On-call
required as needed for the dept. Will clinician float within scope
to meet facility needs? Will float as needed. Pending License
accepted: Yes. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Special Requirements: Required IV Therapy Skills/Experience: Assist
with Central Line Insertion/management, Implanted Ports - Care and
Maintenance, PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance, Starting IVs. The
vascular access team places mid lines, PICC lines, arterial lines,
Central lines, phlebotomy and IV access starts. They do dressing
changes, troubleshooting lines and education of vascular access
devices. Hospital Highlights/nType of Facility: Acute Care
Hospital/nMagnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level
II Trauma center./nTotal Staffed Beds: 372 staffed beds./nScrub
Color: Any solid color./nCharting: Cerner/nParking Cost: parking
permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation
