Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in telemetry nursing required. License: Valid state license required. Certifications: BCLS and NIH required. ACLS and CPI preferred. Must-Have: Ability to read rhythms, cardiac medications, and drips. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. This position is in a cardiac telemetry unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. First-timers are accepted for this position. The position requires six weekend shifts in a six-week period. On-call duty is not required. The clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs. This position does not offer a block scheduling option. The local radius rule applies, with no local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending licenses are accepted for submission. Travelers are expected to have proper facial hair for fit testing or will need to shave. References from supervisory roles within the last two years are recommended. All staff are expected to float within the service line as needed. Experience with specific charting systems is required, including EPIC. No medical marijuana cards will be accepted. Travelers must wait one year to return to this facility after leaving a permanent position. Travelers must take a break after 18 months of service.
