qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Saint Louis, Missouri,

Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology
Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2
years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS from
AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: Pre-procedure and
post-procedure evaluation and monitoring of patients.
Intra-procedure sedation and monitoring of patients. Experience in
a busy interventional radiology setting. Description: The position
involves providing direct patient care activities for all age
groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. You will monitor and coordinate patient care activities
with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, adhering to
established guidelines of nursing practice. Maintain professional
accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluate the
overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with
mission, values, and service standards. You may be required to work
differing schedules, shifts, or days of the week according to
patient care requirements. This position may involve significant
physical demands including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and
turning patients with assistance. The role also has a high-risk
exposure to blood and body fluids. You will utilize the nursing
process to provide patient care for patients post trauma, surgical
interventions, and medical comorbidities. Duties will also involve
maintaining professional accountability for patient care provision.
You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by
other direct care givers and coordinate patient care with other
departments. Confidentiality of patient information is a key
responsibility. You will be working in a healthcare environment
