Join Mercy St Louis Hospital Operating Room OR Resource Coodinator FT Days Where Nurses Come to Grow! We understand you have invested time and resources into becoming a great nurse. Likewise, Mercy wants to invest in you as you answer your calling! Mercy OR conducts a variety of cases including Orthopedics, Neurology, General Services. RNs are typically hired into one of these specialty pods, and may have the opportunity to cross-train to other pods in the department. Overview Performs the primary function of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of their patients. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Organizes and implements service in the assigned specialty area. Coordinates workflow in a timely efficient manner, including room set-up and turn-over, supplies and equipment needed prior to case start. Functions in a staff role as needed, including relief for breaks and lunches. Assists in department operational support tasks and duties. Assisting in orientation of new coworkers and permanent team members in conjunction with the leader. We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year OR RN
• License: current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Certifications: BLS required.
