Additional Information About the Role

Our Imaging Center staff at Alton Memorial Hospital provides exceptional care and support for all imaging and radiology services. We have an opening for a full-time Radiologic Technologist.

• Sign On Bonus up to $5000.00
• Full-Time 37.5 Hours Weekly
• Rotating Evening Hours
• Rotation Every Other Weekend shift 3 pm-11 pm
• Voluntary Call
• Schedule is made 6 weeks in advance

  Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. The Radiology department is equipped with CR and PACs technology to do general radiology in the department, as well as within the ED, OR and hospital floors.   Preferred Qualifications
  
  Role PurposeThe Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders Responsibilities
• Completes registration and prepares patients for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations.Minimum RequirementsEducation
